Raise money for a great cause: CHaD
The day is about children's health, but it's also about raising money for CHaD, an institution that is dedicated to this cause every day of the year. Once you register for the event, a personal fundraising page will be created for you. Here you can easily reach out to family and friends to support you in your fundraising efforts for this great cause!
All proceeds support programs at CHaD. Proceeds, including registration fees and funds raised by Cam's Course participants, benefit the B+ (Be Positive) for CHaD Kids campaign, an initiative founded by CHaD patient Cameron Marshall.
How to participate
- The Half: Run the scenic 13.1-mile half-marathon course through New Hampshire and Vermont
- The Relay: Find two friends and run the same course as a three-person relay team
- The Ripcord: See how you're feeling after the first 3.1 miles and either continue to the finish or cut out early with our NEW Ripcord 5K run
- The Walk: Strut your stuff on our 5K course with bestselling author and event spokesperson, Jodi Picoult
- Cam's Course: One mile of fun for everyone! For just $10 you get a T-shirt, a post-race BBQ, and the satisfaction of supporting the Be Positive for CHaD Kids campaign
Be a superhero
In 2009, 1,016 of you helped CHaD set a Guinness World Record for the most superheroes gathered in one place (not Gotham). In the spirit of all those we honor on this great day, come dressed as your favorite superhero. Don’t have a superhero costume? No worries... free superhero costumes will be available on the Dartmouth Green! Come feel the POWER!
