Sneak-a-Peek

Children who are scheduled to have surgery at CHaD are invited to participate in Operation Sneak-a-Peek, a one-hour tour of the OR and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

By taking some of the mystery out of what happens before, during, and after surgery, it can help reduce a child's fears and anxiety about surgery and coming to the hospital.

Sneak-a-Peek tours are held several Sundays each month. Tours begin at 4:00 pm and last about an hour.

Parents and siblings are welcome to attend. For children who are unable to take part in Operation Sneak-a-Peek and for teens, a video is available for families to borrow and view at home.
